LVT can be laid over either subfloor type once properly levelled and is fully waterproof, making it a practical choice in ground-floor rear extensions, which often have concrete bases. As a guide: a one-bedroom flat with engineered boards typically runs two to three days including preparation. A three or four-bedroom house usually runs five to eight days.
